Bad burn in mouth/throat?

The other day i was smoking a handrolled cigarette. As it got to be very short it slipped through my fingers as i was hitting it and it flew into my throat. After about a minute of hacking and gagging i was able to get it out, but my mouth-flesh put it out. It burned me back where your mouth starts to turn into your throat, before the uvela. It didnt start hurting until the next day but its been three days of trying saltwater, orajel, ice, and cepacol, and it still hurts the same as the first day. And today I was swabbing it with a Q-tip, and when i pulled it out it had a decent amount of blood on it. Should I be concerned about the blood? And what can I do to help this awful mouth-pariah heal sooner?
